acknowledgement of country

i would like to acknowledge and pay my respects to the traditional custodians of the lands, skies, and waters on which i work, create, live, and play – the turrbal peoples of the north side of the river and the jagera peoples of the south side of the river. i recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. i pay my respects to elders past, present, and emerging. always was. always will be.
