slow life in provence
provence has a sense of peace and tranquility that permeates the air, constantly inviting you to slow down and savor every moment. my recent trip was exactly what my soul needed.
/ hazy autumn morning’s on the balcony / sipping coffee and journaling / strolls along the river, grounding my feet in the cool waters / hiking through the mountains and vineyards exploring the winding paths / fruit trees / taking endless photos / exploring the ancient villages, churches and ruins / wandering the weekly markets / chatting with and meeting the stall vendors / selecting the most beautiful fresh produce to take home and cook / croissants and coffee in the town square, surrounded by the locals / the warmth of the sun, as the autumn leaves fall on the table / the smell of freshly baked pastries / the magic of each building, person and corner all like poetry / afternoon aperitif with local wine, olives, goats cheese / cracking walnuts out of their shells / reading a good book / evenings spent with the local artists, writers and creators. learning about their craft and sharing stories about life, love, loss and travel / absorbing their wisdom / verbena tisane before bed every night /
provence is a whole other world that fills my heart up each time i visit. i can’t wait to go back.
